You can't tell, but I am nervous as HELL! This was right before my first sprint triathlon in 2008 in Naperville. We were delayed by rain for over an hour.

Taken at a recent race, the 5K Bastille Day in the West Loop, just a few weeks ago. It didn't pour like last year, which actually turned out to be a cool experience.
These have certainly been defining moments in my life - times when I've felt really alive and in awe of my surroundings. In each of these instances, I have felt inspired, motivated and empowered.
